Of course there are jobs available for everyone here. But in order to get the best offers, you must be fluent in Mandarin, and do have the work experience they require. Otherwise, you will only get low wage offers if any.
You might want to check your visa first
you might not be allowed to work in China
This is a rather sticky issue to say the least. I don't want to get involved with the technicalities of "whether or not this person has a visa or not". I would like to address the issue that he raised.
In the province where I live, unforunately the Foreign Expert Bureaus (it is regionalized here) will not issue a work authorization for an Indian citizen to teach in primary, middle and senior middle schools. That being said, they will issue a work authorization for Indian citizens to work at university level teaching the hard sciences, or advanced IT classes, etc., etc.
Not all Indians, as someone wrote here, open newpaper shops. That is a deplorable colonialist attitude. I have worked together with brilliant university lecturers here from India who taught subjects and materials on which many of us here could never have a grasp.
So the question remains as to what field and in what province and doing what. In Guangzhou, for example, there are numerous Indian trading houses as there are in Zhejiang -- Yiwu comes to mind because of the recent troubles. Guanghzou has a considerable Indian population.
I wish the OP all the best in his search.
What? Indians are not allowed to teach in Secondary Schools in China? Two of my friends ( indian) are working in China as teachers..
Any clarification on my doubt??

Please read carefully what I wrote. I was not speaking to the entire country but rather I was speaking to the province in which I reside. We have dealt with this issue before and we have run into bureaucratic walls as well as visa issues, etc., etc. I am sorry to tell you this but it is just my area, I think.
That depends on what you think is reputable and what you think is not. Some people don't consider teaching reputable, however some people do. Some people don't consider working in a restaurant reputable, however some people do. Depends on how you define reputable. I have seen Indian restaurants here with indian managers. To me that is reputable and if they can do it so can you. Teaching indian would also be reputable you could try teaching at a university.
You can get a teaching job, English is an official language in India.
Some companies look for Hindi translators, but maybe you need to know Chinese for that.
Depends on your background and education. What's your degree in, what do you specialize in? No one can advise you to do anything unless we know what you can do. And dharma, English has to be a First Language not a Second Language, but hey, be like the masses and teach ESL, that's fine also, money sucks though
