Q: Is there anyone living in Shanghai with more than one dog?

Hi all,

I'm moving to Shanghai in August from Wuxi, Jiangsu. While volunteering at a dog shelter here, I adopted two dogs. I'm aware that Shanghai has a one dog per household policy but I'm also aware that there are people flouting this rule. Without incriminating anyone, if you are able to provide advice/suggestions on how best to exist in Shanghai with two dogs, I would be very much grateful.

As you can tell, I am a cat ... I like dogs too, buTT ... I refuse to pick-up dog's poop ... outdoors.

Heve a read here about dog rules&regulations in Shanghai:

http://www.smartshanghai.com/articles/community/how-to-get-a-dog-license...

I read a text and everything is written in singular (by an English author), so you and your plurals maybe can't be in Shanghai.

It will cost you around 1000 RMB per year to register ONE dog in Shanghai ...
