Just wondering as when i looked at stevemerchees post was concerned how can we ever really know the Chinese law? So any sites or places we can find out?

Yes, there are many different websites offering Chinese Laws and Regulations, Englsih versions.
And the reason I like it is put out by University of Peking, and offers about 25 different locations to look inside, and if a page shows in Chinese, it has a way to click on English and get it translated. It also has quite an inside on Supreme Court, regular Courts, and many other goodies.
Yes you can check out some of the previous websites that was given or in any case you could always go to the justice system and have them print out the laws for you or give you copies of the laws. Most places will give you at least a copy of the laws if it's for your own good. They wouldn't want people doing things they are not supposed to do here in China.
HappyExpat posted some really good websites for the most up to date laws. No if only the Chinese PSB and the local court systems would learn them my job would be soooo much easier
