Q: Is there a decent gym at qinghai university for nationalities?

I'm starting at the qinghai university for nationalities (xining) studying mandarin (HSK) in march, and not getting much help or info from my Chinese contact there. Does anyone study there that can give me some info, and does it have a decent gym.. Also also accommodation (dorms, privates and prices), or shared apartments..

Cheers

Depends on what you consider to be decent. A decent gym to me is one with a shower that produces hot or warm water. They would also have weight equipment, an exercise room to do aerobics/jump rope, a swimming pool and a a jacuzzi. The gym would also have to have good working staff both friendly and nice!

As far as accommodation goes I'm sure it does not matter at all. You could either get a shared dorm room with someone you do not know. Or you could spend a little bit more out of your pocket and find a private place and share it with people you do know. I'd go with the latter on that one.

Prices prices prices......if the price is right get it. If it's not look elsewhere. Prices vary from place to place so it's hard to say. I could only give you an estimate but even then the prices could change in a matter of weeks!
