I think you should be asking "what is the English language website that Weibo copied ?" . The answer to that is Twitter.

Wow, really? You are asking this?

Ok brain dead retard....

Weibo is a direct copy of Twitter. Twitter came first, Weibo is the Chinese copy.

EVERYTHING in China is a copy of something else.

sophiemars:

well , yes,i know itz a copy, but i do think weibo is doing better now, itz easy , it looks better somehow....maybe just becoz i dont know a lot about twitter , thatz why i was asking , yes , i m asking!

No need to call names here, does it ever occur to you that she/he was just asking whether or not weibo is available also in English instead of just Chinese?

maybe tweeter is to simple for the Chinese, they love their websites just crammed with adds in every possible space. while the rest of the world goes for streamlined simple to use things. chinese cant get enough adds scrolling in every available space, 4 or 5 pop ups at the same time and little smaller pop ups inside the bigger pop ups. dont believe me? go to sina.com

I have an English version for my phone, hTC Android 2.3 if that helps. Weibo is easy to use even in Chinese, just get somebody to help you out for the first few attempts.
