Just walked past a trashcan, and on the ground near it, I saw a piece of BW. Can't remember if I ever encountered it in China. We've ordered lots of stuff from Taobao, and I think my NetGear router is the only thing to have been bubble wrapped.
Just too expensive for most people to use. So much newspaper and other waste materials to use for packing.
Well, we ordered cider, it came wrapped into lots of bubble wrap. It was like Christmas !
Iphone 5 LCD and touch screen I bought in China came in BW..
They just use it where it is damn necessary to protect the fragile material inside..
less bubble wrap but a hell of a lot more tape. Packages are taped over and under in both directions 4 times minimum!
They have it, but common sellers probably don't feel its necessary. Like sit down toilets haha. I was in a Starbucks the other day and they actually had a bilingual sign saying not to squat on the toilets seat for your safety. Like a non Chinese reading/ English reading person would need this advice. Hysterical!!!
They can use the bras here. They have enough padding to keep anything safe.
My Razer Blade laptop came from the US but didn't have bubble wrap, I bet the guys at the customs took it for themselves when they opened the parcel.
Theres a joke about a wise chinese man who bought some imported electronics. When he opened it up,his friends were confused by the bubble wrap. While inspecting it they saw it said Made in Canada. The wise man passed the gadget to his friends, grabbed the bubble wrap, and started popping it to breathe in his newly boughten fresh air.
