Q: Is there a number to call a cab to your address to pick you up?

My girlfriend has a cast and can't walk, but we have tickets to go to a performance in two nights. I was wondering if there was a taxi company we could call to order a cab to come and pick us up.

We live in Beijing.

Yes, you can. If you have an iphone you can download an app called Yaoyao zhaoche 摇摇招车 (http://www.yyzhaoche.com/). Through the app, you choose the car model, time and pick-up point and they will promptly come and collect you. And they're actually 20% cheaper than normal cabs!
