Q: Is there a number in Shanghai you can text to get venue info in English?

I heard there was a number you could text here to get restaurant/hospital/bar info in English. Is this true or just an urban legend?

it's not true and I know this because a lot of companies in china don't use automated messages. If you call the restaurant more than likely you will talk to someone that works there and the language will be chinese. I was use to automated messages for banks, movies etc., back home but here they haven't started using that system.
