Q: Is there a pottery/ceramics studio or school in Qingdao near Fushan district?

Does anyone know where I can find pottery wheel classes in Qingdao? Preferably near the Fushan district? I have spent hours searching and all I can find is an Art center at the Qingdao Technical university, but that is 2-3 hours away from me by bus.

The only places I've heard about such activities have been at the "old folks university". Have to be 55 years of age to join. Not sure if old folks universities exist throughout the country, but a suggestion could be to look up you local OFU, find a class there and ask if they know of any such classes for young people.

A:My friends who are managing schools still can't recruit from outside of China because of the borders being closed, as far as I know that doesn't look like it's going to change anytime soon. If you have a current existing residence permit etc you can re-enter the country, going through the usual quarantine process obviously but no new visas are being issued. I don't know about business visas but I suspect it wouldn't be much different. For up to date info you could probably contact the Chinese embassy in your country. -- Stiggs
