Q: Is there a Xijing/Western Capital?

We have Beijing - Northern Capital, Nanjing - Southern Capital, and Dongjing (Tokyo) - Eastern Capital...is there a Western Capital/Xijing? If so, where? It wouldn't happen to be Exeter by any chance would it?

Yes there is one Western Capital 西京.

It's just today's 西安 (Xi an) actually.  (Peace in the west, that's what 西安 means)

hey! A little correction! in Chinese history, the name Dongjing (eastern capital) isn't refered to Tokyo. It's actually today's 洛阳 (Luo Yang)and 开封(kai feng), at different time. Sorry for not realizing it the first time
