It is shocking to think Chinese are like this..... this is not the only incedent, so many of this kind of things happen in China....

wenna7:

That‘s not acceptable for sure, but to be honest, if I were there, I will not touch her, but I will call 120 not just walk away... This happened not because people are indifferent, but the society. You know now it's a sad story about a 2years girl, might be a sad story about someone who saved her and get blackmailed by her parents for 200,000rmb... What the ten passed by people did is absolutely wrong, but when u ask them why did they do that, u will find it's understandable... No one wants trouble.

No wenna it's not understandable. The idea that the happiness of not having to risk getting in a law suit out ways the guilt that the little girl might of lived if you had done something besides just walk by. The idea that anyone would choose to protect his/her pockets instead of doing what you can to save the life of a little girl just laying on the ground.

that is real shame on our all chinese people, we lost our humanity at that time, and do the same thing again and agin. about 4 years ago, in Nanjing city, a old wonan fall down whe she get off the bus, a yong man come to help her stand up, but the wonan said the yong man push her down, then she charge this yong man in court, and the judge(now , it has famous nickname "Nanjing judge") without sufficient evidences still sentence the yong man must compensate money for this woman . so now chinese people afraid to help others , and worry it could bring trouble for themself.
