Well, it depends on the person. Everyone, Chinese, foreign, alien...we all have different personalities. Some people have a good sense of humor, some don't. Some are talkative, some aren't, some are only talkative at certain times. As for "open," I assume that's the Chinese meaning of the word? It always sounds like a bad word when Chinese people say it.

As for me, I can have a good sense of humor, but sometimes I am just awkward. I'm very shy and quiet when I meet someone new, but goof around and can be talkative with friends. As for "open," not sure how to answer that one, so I won't.

How about this...we are not all alike. I have friends here that have nothing in common with me other than the fact that we all have similar China Days. That is indeed the biggest bond we have here.

Usually, brave, educated and weathy people have chances to travel or work at another country. Compare to others, they should be excellent. For excellent people, humor, funny, talkative and open are basic qualities

Not all Chinese will have the same qualities and not all foreigners will have the same qualities.
