Not at the moment, but there might be one on the way. Not bad looking either (of course drawn by Europeans so that goes without saying)

I worked for Volvo-Geely in Chengdu, and the Chinese management were adamant that the cars are better now that they are Chinese, and not Swedish.

Volvo with Chinese characteristics...

the labor is so cheap here that no one works on their own cars, i dont see shade tree mechanics making anything with speed here, playing computer games and staring at a cell phone is their only entertainment. i do miss real muscle cars and my 68 chevelle supersport.

bill8899:

I once saw a "Bumble Bee" Camaro Z28 here, if that's any consolation. Yes, labor is cheap. I don't think anyone would even think to change their own oil, but why should they? Hey, I once tried DIY auto repair as a topic. Was hilarious.

I don't like Volvo. Words I'll never say ''my Volvo'' I'm curious how China made them better? Look how long it took the Japs to make a good car or a bike that actually looked sorta like a Harley.

I'd like to see China develop a three wheeled ""Ricshaw" car for export that gets 200mpg.

Are there any female car engineers in China. I wonder if I can get some to come study and learn in Teds High Performance School and Garage. They could tear my 38 Chev apart., change to an over drive transmission, then study the rear gear changes and affects at the drag strip. Learn to strip and paint a car. Thats painting the car naked but the car needs stripping also. There's a big demand for naked female spray painters.
Later the students could design and build the next project from the ground up, a 33 Chev. China needs trained hot rod builders When was that last time you saw someone do a really decent burnout in China.- at least a block long? BTW I showed my GF a clip of a burnout in my 38, she said the car is unstable.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
