Q: Top 10 things to do/see before leaving China?

I'm not planning to leave anytime soon, but I want to make a list with all the things I should do and places I should visit before leaving the country, all suggestions are welcome

For me (based on what I haven't seen yet)

 

1: Tibet

2: Anywhere in Xinjiang

3: Anywhere in Qinghai

3:  Jiuzhaigou, Sichuan

4: Other places in Yunnan except Lijiang (been there)

5. Anywhere in Guizhou

6: Nanjing/Suzhou

7: Huangshan

8: Huashan

9: Xiamen

10: Hainan (off-peak time)

climbing mount tai is worth a day and maybe a half day at chufu

haha. I got insanely bad food poisoning while on Tai Shan when I visited. My group had gone to a really dirty cafeteria for dinner the night before and I ate some bad squid (Yeah, now I know not to eat squid on a stick if you're not on the coast). The next day, I got halfway up the mountain before it started "coming out of both ends" so to speak. I started hallucinating and screaming at the local climbers. Lovely experience.

1. Visit the greatwall it is one of the wonders of the world

2. Go to Hong Kong and Macau

3. Go to Sanya

4. Do visit one of the Jin Jin Bangs it's a korean hotspring type place they serve a buffet for you to enjoy and you can relax in the steam room type place or sit in their jacuzzi!

5. Buy a lot of souvenirs in the street market never know what treasure you might find

6. Learn Mandarin take classes if need be

7. Visit yellow mountain

8. Try one of china's specialty dishes

9. Go to the Temple of heaven located in Beijing (it's so relaxing)

10. Get laid!!

When I first came to China, girls names were on my top 10 'to do' list.
