Q: Tourist spots that are just not worth it?
Has anyone had an experience like this?
Terracotta warriors. When we arrived could barley see them more people then warriors but probably went on a bad day

Really? My experience was a bit different. i was able to get quite close to them and they had a "real" museum as well. This was in 2006 and I loved it. It may have changed since....

Did TCW last year 2011, and loved them. Even better than I expected. That said, the amount of time it takes is smaller than I expected. 2-3 hours could easily do it for most people.
Dalian
It has a good name for being one of China's best cities to live. I was there for a month, and it is by far at the bottom of my list of places to live in China in terms of air quality, green spaces within the city, monuments, trees, streets, etc.
Not a bad place, but a huge opposite of what I expected.

I lived in Dalian for about a year and a half. The winters were brutal, but I thought the summers were great. It is actually one of my favorite cities in China.
Bruce Lee Paradise. For 100RMB you can tour Bruce Lee's Grandfather's 2 room home where it is rumored that Bruce Lee may have stayed for 1 night.
