Can someone tell me whether it's possible to get a tourist visa for China in Mongolia?

Thanks, but I would like to get a Chinese visa in Mongolia. Of course I tried to contact the Chinese Embassy there on different channels several times, but get no response...

What are you trying to do in China ? Fun or work? Either way I don't think you'll get anything more than a 15 ~ 30 day tourist visa depending on where you're passport is from and it doesn't sound like your from a country that gets visa's easily based off your English.

Thanks... Please help me with my English and tell me what you think is wrong about my question. I want to get tourist visa, so of course I want to travel China.

Guys, if you don't have anything usefull to tell, please have the decency to not write anything.
The expat world doesn't consist only of English teachers... I am a German national living in China since two years on Z-visa/residence permit. Previous business and tourist visa were for 30 respectively 60 days.
I met people who were in possession of multiple entry tourist visas valid for 2 years.

Awesome advice Marcos! Since i want to visit Mongolia anyway I think I give it a try. Many thanks!!!
Marcos_Cisneros:
Joerg, Any other questions, I am on Facebook. Marcos_Cisneros. If I can't help, I can usually find someone who can.
Marcos_Cisneros:
Dear Joerg81, Just ignore Ironman's comment above. He's just part of the Anglo trash that inhabits this Board, the very reason that China has had to enforce such stringent visa requirements. I wish you the best in Ulan Bator ... the city is a little on the dangerous side.
joerg81:
thanks marcos! your name is common on fb. current location is china? ...well, just being born in an english speaking country is enought to become a teacher in china. of course that attracts a special clientele..
