Q: Tracy Mcgrady's hard hit foul?
So I saw the clip on t.v., It appeared that the opposing player I believe from The beijing Ducks had showboated a little and was rubbing it in Tracy's face. Tracy elbowed his opponent knocking him to the ground. Do you think it's part of the game or no? Take in mind the guy did showboat and rub it in his face after he made two buckets. Was there a fine for that particular altercation?
It was a cheap shot. When someone talks trash you return the trash talk.
Don't tell them they can fine players for various things. My gosh the fine will be $1,000,000.
Nah, I've watch this guy for years. He's really not a dirty player.
If look at the stats for the team his on--his team mates are horrible--and you watch for a minute or two before the foul--I'm pretty sure that they guy could have smelled MacGrady's nuts after they got so close to his nose the play before--it becomes clear that that guy was looking for a technical. How many more 3 pointers could that guy have conceivably made? At best he he shoots 40%. But Tracy MacGrady can drive the lane as many times as he wants, while making 80% of his lay ups and putting the other team in foul trouble, provided he doesn't get into foul trouble. So what do you do? You either resign yourself to having this guy drop 30 points on you, or you take an elbow and sell it like you've been stabbed. Frankly, that's the problem with international basketball and international players. The mid-range jump shot is too highly valued, and so they can't really cope with a more physical game. So you just end up getting a lot of flops, and the whole thing just kinda turns into a soccer match.
