So which mode of transportation do you prefer because usually all three that come to mind (subway, taxi, bus) can be either A) an hour long wait, B) stressful and crowded, C) expensve D) inefficient altogether.
And give a reason why you choose this method (aka why you think its best)

I hate the taxi drivers who hang around outside the train stations in groups and smirk while they price fix among themselves and refuse to use their meters.
Fuck them, I walk a couple of blocks and get a taxi on the street.
Depends on fhe destination
If leaving china walk to nearby hotel then bus to airport next day
If business they send a car o ec take a taxi
If just local travel in our city then bus or taxi or tricycle
All depends on convince and what mood im in
So on a BCD it is better for me to walk it off

What Stiggs said... If I go to BJ or SH I take the subway but in general I just walk a couple blocks to get away from the parasites around the train station.
In most cities it's the same: not only will they try to rip you off and not use the meter, they harass everyone to the point I've had to physically push them away from me. "Hellooooooooo taxeeeeeeeeeee da che! Qu nali?" Then you tell them where you're going and they quote a ridiculous price or if you're lucky quote a fair price but wait for 3 more people to fill the taxi. I just pretend they're not there, walk two blocks and then all of the taxi drivers somehow become reasonable and use the meter when they're not by the station.

Trick question ? The Train ?
Depends on the time.
Near peak hour, much better off going by metro to a more convenient location to get other transport.
If it's been a long train trip, and I'm feeling like getting home - taxi (even if it does mean waiting in line). Cos, the line wait will still get me home quicker than the metro or a bus!
I usually pay a few kuai to the peons to carry me on their backs. I managed to get from Beijing to Moscow in just 8 months, and it only cost 10元 and the lives of 6 migrant workers.
