I'm looking for a new cartoon show to watch to improve my Chinese a little bit, any suggestions of what's good?

My son is not allowed to watch any chinese cartoon, with one exception for Mei yang yang stories, but even this is now limited.
I am downloading for him Disney things, now Lego short movies and NinjaGo series, which he very like. but not in Chinese, only English or Czech language.
Seems, this does not help you a lot

they seems too stupid to me. and personaly, I hate the voice of chinese translation voices. He have chinese with mother and in kindergarden, for others, I want he learn other languages.
we have watched also chinese Mickey, and it is really ugly and stupid. meilaoshu ? shhhh. We will not stay in china forever, and I do not want he come in Amsterdam and look for maidalau ...
The disney films and Winnie the pooh. He doesn't really watch many cartoons though.
Bubble Guppies is educational... but I agree with Nessquick and we disallow Chinese cartoons as well.
Xiyangyang is dumb and lazily animated, but easy to understand.
Hulu Xiongdi ("calabash brothers" or something) is apparently a classic, from a time when Chinese cartoonists had their own animation style. I kind of liked it, it's pretty unique.
You should try watching Spongebob in Chinese.
I remember the giant disappointment when I turned on the TV after landing in China for the first time, glad to see Spongebob, before realizing he was speaking Chinese...
But yeah, this one's probably one of the easiest (while remaining somewhat entertaining). I could understand most of it after learning Chinese in high school, to give you an idea of how easy it is.

My son watched that too, I it was horrible ::D so he got the movie in Czech language, and I am trying to slowly get the parts from yt in english, but recently the internet out of china really really sucks
Shoot 'em up and pop 'em down.
Oh, sorry, you meant internet forum users....
woad wunner, wery wery funny, they should have this, no need for translation,,, beep beep
I know it's been long since your question, but if you'd still like to know, there are a set of Cartoon DVDs available on Taobao that have Mandarin Dialogue and English subtitles. I personally bought one set which had 30 old cartoon movies and I find them helpful.

I found another one which has some latest movies: http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=40274942151
boonie bears. bernard bear. the violence and bullying is too realistic.
littlest pet shop was appealing to my son, though he's a boy.
garfield didn't take, but i could get him to watch plenty of tom & jerry. the cartoon violence there isn't so close to home, as the cat & mouse are mute housepets, not anthropomorphised humanoid animals.
ben rat.
be va beaver songs. those other songs with the 3 japanime animals.
we don't watch any children's tv channels. it's all from some internet/TV provider's harddisk selection.
what's annoying nowadays, is that the remote is broken. Owen spilled water on it. now, as soon as the closing titles begin, he launches a temper tantrum while we try to tell him to wait 2 minutes. typical 2yo with no impulse control. without the remote, we can only use the buttons on the machine: up, down, left, right, enter. no stop or back buttons.
PS: woops, didn't realize the thread had been necroed.
