Q: Vertical Limbo dancing. Does it annoy you too?

This has become my pet hate over the past few weeks. Vertical Limbo dancing.

As soon as I start to explain what it is, you will understand completely.

The challenge for the vertical limbo dancer, is to get through a closing door  just before the gap becomes too small that they actually have to physically interact with the door. That is: push it open. There might be a pregnant woman behind... but no. They open the gate 10 inches and vertical limbo through. Most have to swerve their body to slip their backpack through. Then a  kid will push past the pregnant woman, he can vertical limbo a 4 inch gap. The Yangist grannies seem to be able to vertical limbo a 2 inch gap. The pregnant woman needs to interact with the door... push it open.

Have you experienced this?

Or the "no-one else exists around me, so I don't need to hold open the door for the people behind me...".

Although, I was seriously shocked when a delivery guy did this for me yesterday!!! And he fully waited those few seconds for me to come up the stairs too! Awesome!  Granted, others have held open doors for me as well, when they were using them, but not so obvious, and when I was that little further away!

(yes, I did say "xie xie[")

I have noticed that older women rarely hold a door open for people behind them, preferring to use their shoulders to push gate open. Younger men may or may not hold a door open. Older men often do, and younger women will pretty much do this all the time.

I agree. Its the older women who are the worst for this. But they are worst for everything.

I think that China will greatly improve once the current elderly women have all died. Most are truly monsters who have a heart and soul as dark as the coldest reaches of space. There are a few gems hidden but the majority are what I would describe as concentrated evil.

I have not experienced what you describe.

I happen to enjoy dancing and the tipsier I get the more I enjoy it

Limbo has never been something I was really good at, but I did do the frog and the gator on different bar floors

Vertical Limbo dancing sounds more to me like just some guy(Drunk being  assholes and should never be referenced to as a "dance" .
