Give a bit more information on the problem. Otherwise we’re not going to be able to advise.

After the fact, sorry can't help. I suggest people do their homework before coming and have the capital to hightail it back if necessary. Also, each situation is different. Are you homeless as a result? If not, it's fairly easy to find private lessons. If you are, try checking this board's job section, there's usually jobs looking for immediate hire. But do a little research before signing the next contract.

If you are sure everything you did was 100% legal and by the book, then you should familiarize yourself with SAFEA.

You will hear conflicting reports about them to be sure, but in your case I would think what do you have to lose?  Maybe, just maybe, they could help some way.

But, I’m not the expert on this, and if he doesn’t chime in, there must be a reason. We tend to be leery of posts like yours, especially since it’s your first post.

I'd bet more than half are scams now. Especially with the rules being enforced a little more. A school could just not pay you. There really is no recourse. So if you happen to be one of those who is outside the requirements set by Beijing, you are SOL. SAFEA will not be able to help you. It us true that some schools have gangxi, and some provinces my be lenient, it is up to YOU to be compliant.

like the post from the guy who wanted to be a gigolo, this is the kind of post that undermines the credibility of this site.

If this poster was genuine, there would be so much more information and detail, and posters would be able to give useful and practical advice.

it is not that posters here are not helpful, but the post has to seem even basically credible - which this post is not.

if i genuinely had a problem and needed help on this site, i would include sufficient information and stay online to get answers, not a post and run fake 'question' just to generate traffic.

yes, Admin, traffic is being created but only to the extent that people are trashing fake questions - is that what you want?

i know, Admin is now avoiding doing his/her job

Englteachted:

And reply to what people are saying. This clearly is yet another admin post

Its not an admin post, I deleted another post from this guy yesterday that was just as spammy. I'm doing it again soon, so hopefully you'll see this response in time.

Push v. Pull. If this was an actual factual user account one would not feel the desire to push users to this forum. One could rely on quality question/answers to pull users

It's not about users, it's about traffic. If this site had 0 users and a million hits a day, they'll be happy because revenue comes from hits not users

ok Admin you responded to this post,

what about responding to on-going poster comments and queries?

i have been looking for an answer for months as to why first of all i was blocked and then have been unable to post comments on the front page on articles and blogs.

not to mention ALL the other poster queries.

i have been emailing the Admin address - but no-one seems to be bothering their unicorn to respond to posters concerns

iWolf:

Ahh, Blondie...i know you know that i know that you know that you aren't going to get a satisfactory answer in this lifetime. The last clown doing the admin thing...he was a frog with a nazi over compensation complex. This one seems like an extra from Philadelphia. Where do they find these clowns? They are almost as absurd as that ridiculous user-admin bollocks that was floated a few months ago. Every wanker who goes close to this job becomes a fascist bully boy. Normal decent people become dicks. So, dear Blondie, there is no answer. Maybe check with agent Mulder or catch a unicorn in rainbow land, cut of his horn, grind it up and free-base it while you bbq the rest.

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change student visa to labourer one is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
