Q: Villagers

I found people live in village tends to sleep early around 10 pm and get up around 6 am in the morning.Are they healthier compare to people live in the city? The reason for going to sleep early because village is more peaceful and there's no entertainment.

@viki -  it is also one of the primary reasons for the huge population.  Nongmin come home from long day in the fields, were in their shack by 20:00, have some sort of meal, in bed between 21:00, 22:00.  Yang gets his Wang off, and lo and behold! Shang has another child on the way!  (repeat ad nauseum)

Attention PRC:  Free Condoms Now!

earthizen:

Yup.  Early bed early rise......ahem....what else is there to do? Condom -- dalu nongmin think, 'naive laowai, eho is going to plough the fields?  You know, chinese are the smartest race on planet earth so how on earth can they be ever wrong?

PRC's GDP per capita is about the same as Peru. Dalu ren have Mao to thank for, in addition to the cultural revolution, he told them the more the people the more productive china would be. The guy was soooooooooo smart........

Yeah, people in my xiao qu get up at like 6 or 7 in the morning and do tai qi.

They seem pretty healthy and happy... lots of them do square dancing around 6:30-8:00 in the evening.

Quantity and quality also applies to life. What good is quantity without quality (which of course leads to one's definition of it)?

Look for these places on this air pollution map of china (2015). Need more be said?

@icniff77

have you ever watched 'Curb your enthusiasm'?

compared to many of the current popular comedy shows, and like Seinfeld, it is smart and well written.

Probably the blackest and most painful comedy to watch, but like a slow train crash, you can't help but watch.

Written by and starring Larry David, who also co-wrote Seinfeld, it takes a jaundiced look at daily life and problems.

you might enjoy it.

I always thought 'George' was the funniest character.

I remember the episode he managed to get people eating chocolate with a knife and fork
