Q: Visa Issue - It's urgent
Hi friends
my friend visa is going to finish at 30 jan 2013.
He is having x visa.
how can he apply for 1 month tourist
visa by himself ?
What documents needed ?
plz reply me as soon as possible.

Have him take passport to PSB office and ask for one month extension. Not sure if he needs lease or proof of where he lives, won't hurt to take them.
He might also be required to show that he has 20,000RMB in a bank account in order to prove that he can take care of himself financially.
He will also need 2-3 passport sized photos.

your residence certificate in China, blue background visa photos and photos receipt.
This is what they really ask for:
1) Passport
2) Temporary residence form (the paper you got from the police station when you arrived)
3) Your graduation certificate or a letter from your school saying you are graduated
4) Fill a Visa extension form there and need a passport size photo on the form
5) Visa Extension fee , around 160-200rmb, to pay when you get your new visa.
This is what i do for our students when they finished the semester study and want to get a one month tourist visa.
