Q: Vodka or baijiu?

Hi there,

Can somebody please explain me the difference between vodka and bijiu when it comes to ingredients? I know the difference in taste, but I am a bit intrigued what gives baijiu this "specific" flavor.

Vodka isn't sweet as baijiu.

My fav vodka is Wyborova, Polish brew, best drunk 'straight up', not chilled.

I can't stand baijiu, but currently I am very close to the major Chinese baijiu production facility Maotai in Guiyang, Guizhou.

As soon as I arrived in April, I let everybody here know, I don't drink booze at all! Ever!

I drank some home made baijiu, but it was still too sweet for my taste.

You can easily Yahoo-gle ingredients in both drinks .... I mean, I don't know or care ... if I like the taste, I go for it!

Not sure, I have had many different kinds of baijiu that tasted very different.

Overall, I prefer vodka over Baijiu... but luckily I have a pretty good tolerance to both.
