Q: Vow to only upvote
If I downvote, I always say why. I never downvote without saying I have done so.
Can we all agree to do the same?
Certain user-accounts also never answer and only make comments in odter to cowardly avoid being butthurt by the subsequent downvotes which would be raining down upon said user-accounts. (downvoted in 3,2,1...)

It is so obvious which are the dummy accounts whose only raison-d'etre seem to be down-thumbing.
if these accounts actually rationalised (with logic and words) why they disagreed, this site might become more interesting and dynamic.
But so much of the down thumbs seem to be basic butt-hurt

There are many times I see a downvote. But I don't see any comments that are worth downvoting and the downvote is for every comment. When I see this I give an upvote for every comment I see with a downvote just because.
I occasionally DV without commenting... cos, you know... sometimes it just deserves it! But, those are the posts that don't merit an intelligent response (and you all know what I mean by that!)

It's a little fascinating that almost all answers on this thread have a lucky 4 downvotes. The sockpuppets that haven't done their duty are either still sleeping after a long night playing LoL or their mum won't return their phone until they finish their homework. Take heart that these flaccid twonks will be the ones in the factory making the disposable crap you throw away after one use once daddy's money runs out and they have to get a real job that suits their ability. Ha!

If you look at the top users, that's mostly who posts. About 15 I think, there may be a couple more..
There are the new accounts who show up, ask something like 'how can I get a job in China' then are never heard from again.
There's the occasional ex regular who pops in sometimes to say something.
There are a few ex posters who stopped posting and now just sit online down voting people - god knows what they think they're proving but I suppose everyone needs a hobby.
And there are the names you see online a lot who have probably never said anything at all but if you look at their profile they've been members since 1981 or something and they have a lot of points.
And that seems to be who is here on ECC.
Why do you all care so much?

I agree with @shiningbrow. If user-accounts use the most popular tab to recycle over to to latest Qs, there should be a fairer representation between user generated Qs and user-acoount generated Qs. Of course this downvoting is subject to the discretion of the user's sensibilities. Some user-account Qs are quite amusing after all.

You know, I'm all for retaining privacy on the internet. For example, i don't want to know who the users of thos site are in real life in most cases. I have a real life. That said, a member of this site outted my identity and previous place of work to an unstable alcholic Irishman who had nursed a vendetta against iWolf for a few years because i thought his pathetic attempts to be a derivative white token wannabe on youku were shameful and untalented. Anyway, he was given my wechat and tried to make friends with me so he could get his revenge. Over several months i refused his offers to go drinking. I'm not an alcholic. Next he escalated to threats of knee capping and other violence. And putting hate pages about me on Asia Media sites. I ceased to be polite at that time. You see, Kev, like marco had created an elaborate fantasy online. The truth was quite mundane. But in both cases they laboriously created a fantasy that they vehemently defend at "truth". They arw unable to separate online life from real life. The point i am trying to make is that it is one thing to prefer your privacy online but it is an entirely different animal to create a rich fabrication of an identity a person tries to pass off as real. For all your defence of marcos, surely you must realise that he was using you and playing you to establish credibility for his imaginary identity. Stooge, is the word i believe.
