Q: Warm cities near Liaoning

I would like to spend my winter holidays in a warm city heck even +5c to +15c is fine but I can not go too far as I have limited budget I am a student so no offense. Can anyone please suggest some good cities around where I can get cheap hotel rate under 50rmb per night maybe I am asking for too much but I really have no idea I want to get out of my city ASAP.

BTW I am located in Shenyang city the forecast here is under -10 to -20c Tongue

Qinhuangdao, Hebei would be my choice for limited budget. There are loads of small hotels and hostels there. One is Beidaihe Liuzhuang Zhangyanxia Hostel for 52 Rmb per night.

You can find more choices at Agoda:

By the way, Dalian is currently sunny and windy, with temperature around 0* C, or slightly below.

Yes Dalian is on the sea so the temperature extremes like you and I experience don't occur. I might go to where you are to get warm dave!! -10C? Positively balmy!

Seriously? So what is the current temperature in your city? angry

As I write this response the temperature here is -31C. Maximum gets to about -19C but in January -21C!! Wind chill is another story. Woody is right. Near where you live there are no warm places.

Few years ago, I worked in Huachuan, Heilongjiang. Lowest temperature I experienced in my life was -33*C. When you spit, before saliva hit the ground, it is ice already!no

Russians call that area 'Siberia'. Many European languages use word 'Siberia' as synonym for describing 'extraordinary cold'.

A:It's up to the employer if they want to hire you that's fine most cities today require you to take a health check every year when renewing the working visa if you pass the health check and you get your visa renewed each year I know teachers that are in their 70s and they're still doing great -- ironman510
