Want to ask you for some ways of improving one's mood in this foggy, smoggy Beijing - maybe fun activity? As a European my mood is closely connected to the weather outside and since the last sunny day in Beijing occurred almost 2 weeks ago, going through some autumn depression now - can't find a place for myself here. I don't know, but recently this city overwhelms me - I feel like there is no nature here and how long can you breath fumes?
The short cut is already in your screen name.
Remember the days when you were a kid and act like one. Not kidding.
- Watch a sitcom
- Take a walk
- Read some book
- Talk to a friend
- Go Bowling
- Treat yourself to a nice meal

Paint a painting.
Kill paper with a sharp stick (archery).
Read a book
Kill all humans. .
Listen to music.
Go for a walk/run.
Go to the gym.
Plot the total destruction of the human race.
Draft plans for inter-galactic conquest.
Make pointless lists.
Mentally time travel, kill a key historical figure, and see how it affects the time stream.
But, when all else fails... there is always alcohol and sex.
