Q: Ways to motivate Chinese employees
Sometime I feel my employees are unmotivated. They don't slack, but it my duty to make'em work work harder. It's not about moar work, it's about quality.
I tried to instate casual fridays, stiffer chairs so they have to stand straighter, joke telling seminars, a longer lunch break and dancing outings. So far it doesn't work so well, although some are developing signature dance moves.
Anyone can halp with other ideas for moar productivity insight?

offer them foreign trips if it come under ur budget.
My boss is doing what u r doing, and it works well. How long have u been doing this? Maybe u need to wait until things changes.
Offer them prizes for being the best, best production team, congratuations, you get to drink from the fire hose.

Tell them they're fired if they don't improve. Fire the worst one the next day. Advertise for the new employees you will need to replace the ones you fire.
