Q: Wechat search feature "People Nearby" help

WeChat has a search feature "People Nearby".

Until a few days ago, my wechat ID was discover-able by other people when they search in People Nearby. Then, I changed my phone number linked to my wechat account. However, after changing the phone number, my ID is not discover-able in People nearby search. What should I do so that my wechat account can be discovered by other people when they search in People Nearby ? Following suggestion is NOT usefull ... it does not work. "Notes:If you've set an alias for your WeChat account, but you still cannot use People Nearby on other network settings, this may be due to the fact that you are sending greetings from People Nearby too frequently with your account. We suggest you use this function later."

Sometimes wechat has bugs. I have about 50 wechat accounts, some of them do not have video chat or audio chat functions. Some do not have moments. You can't find them in settings either. The best way is to register another account, and another, and another...

I'm sure eventually you'll get your luck as I do!

If you connected a new number to it, then you need to make that number searchable.
