If your dating an actress she will probably make the arrangements for you.
Just take her out and have fun. Show her a good time on your budget. If she doesn't like you or your lack of funds... she'll drop you. If she doesn't like you, it'll save you money. Maybe you won't like her. Again, it'll save you a couple of rmbs.

When you date, do you treat them different if they are secretaries, engineers, singers or maids ?. Or do you ask them out with you because "something" from them attracted you ?.
Do your normal thing, maybe start with a dinner invitation, if it goes well then follow it up to a night cap at a bar or similar, and if still on "cloud 9" then do as CRIMOCHINA suggestted, try for an audition for the love scene at your place or hers.
I met last February a Lady at a restaurant. I was having dinner alone and a cute Chinese sat on the next table to me. After about 10 minutes, she pulled out a cigarrete, but could not find her lighter. I got up and gave her mine (I always carry a spare just in case one fails). We exchanged polite conversation while eating from separate tables, and at the end she gave me her card, and I gave her mine. Afterwards I found out she is a nationally known singer in China, and we are very close friends. She is based in Beijing but travels a lot. She claims she has fun with me because I take time to listen to her, never pressures her into anything. Every other male she knows just wants her in bed, never sits down with her to sip wine and hear her worries, troubles and frustrations. Neither wants long term commitments, but we do enjoy each other presence , conversation and relaxed intimate times that we BOTH enjoy.
And maybe it will help you, she likes to go to places where she will not be recognized.
I have dated two actresses in the past. I found them both boring and without personality.
One was Western one Asian the only time I found them interesting is when I was watching them be someone else. Just my 2 cents….

I just act my normal self, the bigger a deal of it you make the worse it gets. Just treat her to what you usually do and be dominant =)
It should be any different then dating a regular girl. The fact is she might be impressed by you not being able to take her to her regular hang outs, sometime the cheaper date can be more enjoyable for her. The last time I dated a girl from HOng Kong who happened to be a singer I took her to dinner and a walk in the park, she just held onto my arm the whole,night and laughed at my jokes and told me her troubles. Listening to them can be great foreplay.
Actress dating expense is gonna be MUCH more expenssive than the 1,000Y you mentioned in another post. Be ready to shell out BIG TIME! If you dont, her goons will beat the "pink" outta you, wad you into a ball and toss you to the ducks. Ferocious Beijing ducks, no less!

Of course that depends on who she is, but really if she is a good person and not all big in the head you can pull it off really cheap, I have done it before in fact it was a very famous actress from HK, and we had a really nice week end in a cheap hotel in GZ. It all started over a coffee, dinner at a western restaurant and a nice walk in a park. She was more then happy to get away from the hassle and bustle of her regular life and slum for a weekend with me.

This tip varies on your personal skill and location to find said even... but make the date something that you can teach her that she hasn't done before. Ice skating, surfing, even swimming at the pool. It will stick out in her mind more than a dinner with every other guy she's been out with. It's cheap and can become a whole afternoon event extending the date well into the evening. And the whole "teaching" promotes physical contact to break that ice for you.
