Q: What is up with all the Windows 7 updates?

I have had to do a windows 7 update every morning for the past 5 mornings. Is this happening to others?

yes, happened everyday this week, hope the free windows 10 upgrade works when its released, so i can stop using torrent versions at my school.

I wouldn't get 10 just yet, I'm a tech and I've been messing with the free version of windows 10 and its like PC magazine says: Loads of work and bugs to be fixed.

I thought it was my computer or the poor internet connection I have in this small town. I keep getting disconnected too. All part of the life in China. I think my dial-up connection I had in the 1990's was faster than this. Ha Ha.

China would love to block out every updates from Microsoft, and remove every Windows copies from its market, but they are unable to produce a domestic OS worth that name.

china will have a very hard time getting linux to be user friendly for lazy chinese that still think xp is the mother load.

most of the teachers given windows 7 ultimate in chinese wanted it removed and xp put back  on their computers.

Eorthisio:

I have seen a Chinese teacher with XP on her MacBook Pro, she said she prefers it over OSX, except it had a OSX skin, didn't look like XP very much. I then asked why she didn't buy a Windows laptop, most are cheaper and as reliable, she said the MacBook Pro "looks better", all about face, see what Chinese care about.
