The most well-known beer festival in China is Qingdao international beer festival. It has a very long history and usually begins in mid August. It's a good idea to visit Qingdao during the festival I think.

Dalian and Harbin also have some well established international beer festivals. Of course, no beer festival in China can compare to those in the West, especially the allmighty Oktoberfest in Munich. The day China masters the art of good quality, cloudy weiss beer and giant salty pretzels is the day I go to a beer festival here.

I don't know if you would call this a beer festival, but when they have Euro on the soccer championships they had a beer run for the beer heineken. I had won that beer run for answering some question on another site and from I know you go around different bars watching the euro games and drink as much Heneiken as you want and afterwards they give you a free goodie bag!!

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
