Q: What are the best home delivery services in Shanghai?

After working all day, sometimes it's difficult to go grocery shopping and cook before the family's ready to sit down and eat. Grocery delivery would save a lot of time and hassle; can anyone recommend any reliable services?

For online grocery stores, try Smart Direct (www.smartdirect.cn), which pulls together the best of various specialty shops like Da Marco’s Italian, Shanghai Pie Company and Shanghai Organic, and delivers it right to your door. For a quick fix, use their recipe section, which automatically ads items from recipes you choose into your shopping cart. For a local option, check out City Shop (www.cityshop.com.cn), where you can order home-grown produce as well as a wide variety of imported goods. Feidan is your place for international foods, newspapers, and magazines (http://www.feidan.cn). And don’t forget about the French hypermarket Carrefour (http://e-shop.carrefour.com.cn/), which offers everything from groceries to home appliances and sporting goods.

there's probably a walmart or darunfa around where you live. They both have apps and can deliver to your door.
