Q: What are the best online translators?

I'm writting to a woman and she can't read much English. I tried both Yahoo and google translators, but the results are wrong and I think have to figure out how to re structure my language so it works better. Is there a better translator and ideas about the structure difference?

MDBG is excellent because you can see the meanings of each character... Sometimes in translation software it chooses the most common word rather than the actual meaning, so knowing all meaning of each character allows you to better decipher the meaning.
