I've got almost 11 years work of these Chinese Tax receipts nicely stacked.
But what are they useful for in the future?

The tax bureau is supposed to be linked to your FRP/FEC. It was an issue a few years ago that upon exiting China, you were supposed to provide proof of tax payments.
Who knows, better safe than sorry.

This is very good information to know, thank you. Thumb up vote. Screw the fool who's been downvoting.
You need them if you apply for a D don't you?
ironman510:
Good point Scots. Sorry for whatever fool downvoted you. It's been going on all day.

I'm disapointed I only get one down vote Ironman .
My recent average has been much better.
It is very useful to buy USD as well as to transfer money from your Chinese bank account to your home country bank account. I generally use my tax receipts for these two purposes..
