Are you getting cash by posting  here?

My highlights? Storm last night was very loud: 'first lightning strike's sound around 11pm was so loud, that I thought some accident happened on the road below my 13th-(in elevator press '14')-floor apt'.

City is on 1800m (5500 ft.) elevation, so things get louder up here, 'cause we're closer to the 'impact'.

I guess, our ear cavities are much cleaner   than yours on the regular sea level.

Summer will be rainy here. Some sun for half a day, and then showers.

Considering, I am cemented to this city till June 2017-new FEC arrived this week,-I will soon need my e-Tities raincoats (current pint count is 14540, i.e. over 7 jacket-os).

I am heading to Nepal in July for a month, on even higher elevation than here.

Annapurna, Poon Hill, Cho Oyu, Bhaktapur, Dhaulaghiri, Sagarmatha ('Mt. Everest' to you!), Mustang, Shivapuri National Park, Pokhari-boat&lake, Chapali, Manaslu .... some 8k m (many ft.) elevation.

You know, one can never be high enough .....

I'd say, the worst was your re-posting of '77' threads last week.

I guess, you can't push anything on the Board. Best is to let it go. It was always 'up&down'.

Look at the no. of Board observers/guests and how many are there log-on posters. Last night numbers were like 200 observers and 2 log-on members.

I am guessing, many registered posters don't log-on anymore, but just watch the Board as guests.

Nanjing still has some relatively isolated patches of nature, so when I finally kill myself I know where to do it so that my corpse is not found for months/years.

my hometown is WARM, it is always GREEN,  and amazingly CLEAN. It is a nice city, by anybodys standards. I like it here!!!

even the back alleys are well looked after... not just the main streets...still very Chinese, but certainly not the atypical filth many folks associate with China.

we have zero street vendors ... the 3 wheeled tuk-tuk things have been banned ....the beaches are clean, the people are NICE, what more do you want or need?

even smoking laws rules are being enforced in some places.... really pissing me off.

driving laws and rules being enforced ... this is a progressive city!!!!!

A: "... through ..."?  Only "through" comes to mind is "Shenzhen agent can connect you with an employer, who's authorized to hire waigouren ... and can sponsor Z visa." It's not like every 10th person you meet in Shenzhen's hood can sponsor work visa ...  The only way to change from student to labourer visa is just a regular way by: 1. Finding an employer, who'll apply for an Invitation letter; 2. Exit China and apply for Z visa in your home country's Chinese embassy; 3. Enter China in 30-days after Z visa was stamped into your travelling instrument ...As I am aware, you won't be able to switch to Working permit by remaining in China....,so make ready for a return to your home .... -- icnif77
