Almost non-existent if you are a fresh graduate with no work experience. You should have a minimum of 2 years post graduation experience to be able to get a work permit in China.

It's a good subject for china. I saw urban plaaner advertised on echina a few weeks ago. Salary was mega. No harm in applying if you see one some experience would be better. Rules are never absolute in china. Maybe you could intern to get a foot in the door.
