Beer? Cocktails? Club? Live music? Xiaojie? Gay? Cheap? Expensive? Locals? Mostly expats? College students?

There are a ton of bars in Shanghai. Tell me what you are looking for and I can give you a better idea.

You're right MrTibbles, I should have been more specific. I guess I was naively referring to popular expat hangouts but Shanghai must have many of those. How about cocktail bars?
