For Chrome I know of one - Zhongwen (maybe you get it for Mac too). Basically if you hover over any Chinese character it will translate it for you with pinyin et. all. Any others?

Google Pinyin input thingy. Not really a browser add-on, but it has an up to date library (it even has "肏"!), and works well.
That's all I know.
I believe Google's 'Translator' is just fine for most simple things. Also, by using the International version of QQ one can use the translator inter-changeably: English to Chinese or the other way. Sometimes, though the translations are still awkward and even wrong. Still, it is steadily improving.
