Q: What are some good websites for Expats in China, besides this one?

I'd like to know what the top websites are for expat news, dating, etc. (besides this one). I've heard talk of Chinasmack and it is indeed a good source for funny and sometimes even sexy videos. However, I know some of you have other China news websites you visit from time to time.

So what are they? Talk! Spill the beans!

To answer my own question, I read:

Also, i know that this site has a dating community, but I've already messaged pretty much every girl in my area, so I need some fresh meat. I still have an OKCupid account, but there don't seem to be a lot of Chinese on that one. I could go to the bar, but I don't really want to date bar girls or KTV girls.

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
