Q: What are some medium-larger cities in china where foreigners are still considered rare?

I'm researching what city I would like to teach in. I like the idea of getting some attention for my foreignness so I'm interested in cities with lower populations of foreigners. I know Chongqing mite be what I'm looking for, but from what I've read i don't think i could handle the weather. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks.

. I love Zhanjiang.. perhaps the comment is valid though. One of my classmates is from there. I've gone there several times over and over for the past 4 years. It's a nice place to be, but yeah... not so many laowai.

The further North you go, the better luck you'll have.
