Taking Chinese business dudes out for KTV after a killer dinner so I can get them drunk and get women that I paid to make them feel manly with excessive flirting and then a trip to a back room where they are ravished and falsely flattered (ooohhhh it's so big), so that when they are done they are so drunk and relaxed that they agree to an awful business deal for them, but a great one for me.

After this the gaunxi they owe me is so big, they continue to grant me ridiculous concessions in my favor, for fear of embarrassment.

God Bless China.

Spitting out bones and food debris sometimes placing them on the table at the side of my plate.

Going with the flow and forcing my way onto public transport instead of waiting in a civilized manner.

Sometimes taking left overs home from the restaurant.

Pigging out and over eating at buffet type restaurants to maximize the value despite them being relatively cheap.

Breaking rules and regulations that I would observe in my own country.

On a positive front, I am far more meticulous about saving recyclable waste materials such as plastic, paper etc. In my own country, they went straight in the bin but, in China, I put them in a big bag in the spare room and give to old people to take away when full.

How is taking leftovers home a bad habit? Wouldn't wasting food be a bad habit?

my 'advanced driving skills' have improved to government agent / getaway driver level so much that I cannot wait to test them in a civilized country that actually follows the traffic laws.

Hotwater:

Hahaha,  tell me about it! Driven in Guangdong for four years now and definitely get-away car level! Drove back from Dongguan to Guangzhou in heavy traffic just now & used every lane available, including the hard shoulder at one point!

The two times I've driven back in the UK in recent years have been okay though last time took me a little time to get used to driving on the correct side of the road. It's like a switch flips over when I change driving sides. Only used my headlights for letting people out and drove politely. Whereas here I'm now a Chinese driver but with better skills.

i did Yunnan to Shanghai - twice (2 DAY journey) and came back on the one occasion on the day Chinese new year ended and it was bloody mental. It rained hard and everyone was in a race plus I avoided about three collisions and witnessed one live in front of me.

someething else that is road related might be worth posting a question: car parks - do people who design these things - the indoor ones - do it to take the piss?
