Q: What is the best brand of face mask in China?

Would you please be so kind as to recommend the brand of face mask that you find to be most effective at preventing you from breathing smog?

I havnt found a good chinese one.  The japanese ones are best, and not expensive.  The chinese ones are just crappy material with a fancy design.  The japanese ones actually reduce the amount of dust and crap you breathe in.   As for a brand name, I cant remember,  but if you find one (whether its chinese or japanese) check the back to see if it says its reduces crap intake.

Please check this website if you live in Beijing or nearby.  You may find there what you are looking for.

The BEST would probably be what the Space Agency gives its Astronauts or 太空人。 But those are pretty much out of most peoples budged, unless you are Bill Gates.

Face mask brands? Really? Do the Chinese need a brand for everything, even the lowly facemask?

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
