Q: What is best job for expats aside from teaching spoiled brats?
Just curious. Thinking of making a career change.
It depends what your skills are. If you're an engineer or some sort of tech person you'd probably land a great job here.
I'm a nurse with a background in health education and that was what I wanted to do here.
But I can't, for two reasons. 1) No one speaks English. 2) No one gives a stuff about health education.
So I teach English in a middle school.
I can't recommend anything for you but if you catch on to something good don't hesitate to share it here.

@royceH: Don't feel bad...10 years ago, if Bill Gates showed up in China, he'd have been revered as a god. If he showed up today, they'd want to strip him of his money and get him teaching at a kindy.

My wife and I have discussed just such an idea. Her rationale was that there are a lot of frustrated middle aged women in China who would be keen to fork out for some afternoon delight.
Teaching spoilt brats with very well connected parents... who REALLY want to pass (or, at least, not get embarrassed by failing 
)
Musicians can earn a great deal of money here...even the marginally talented ones. Starting your own food business is always an option, but that takes work, starup costs, and you have to deal with a Chinese staff.
Working for international relations in a multi national company is also not a bad option..
at least for a non native speaker like me...
