Trolls...and pollution
iWolf:
China gave us Dim Sum. They can stop there, there is nothing left to do.
Oops, I almost forgot ....the wumao posters.
Who trolls the troll trolls who troll the troll troll trolls?
Beautifulsoup:
What is so good about Dim Sum? Small food that could not feed a fly.
@Sinobear, what is up with you and trolls? That is all you talk about. Why not just leave well enough alone. It is the internet, people are going to troll. You can't do anything about it. If you don't like trolls, ignore them, or stick to Xbox.
A way to justify anything by adding " with Chinese characteristics" at the end !
A lesson on resiliency i.e. how to survive for 5000 years by overcoming hurdles which
many civilizations failed to overcome and succumbed( Persians,Romans,Egyptians etc).
Chinese has always found a way and came back again and again...
RiriRiri:
And what exactly the lesson says? Keep making the same mistakes over and over, never learn anything?
Oh, yeah, and by the way, before it became a nation ruled by an aggressive central power with sufficient logistics to beat the crap out of anyone not following anywhere, China was a conglomerate of kingdoms that had little to do with each other and were constantly at war. "5.000 years of history" is propaganda crap, every goddamn place in the world except Antarctica has at least that much "history" if we follow Chinese delusion standards.
Beautifulsoup:
You mean the civilization falls, but when a new civilization takes place in the same geography they call is by the same name. If the European Union would only call themselves Rome they could have a long legacy too.
DrMonkey:
Where the "5000" comes from ? If we use the first written document ever, you can downgrade that to 3000 years already. Several civilisation left written trace way, way before anything found in China : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_languages_by_first_written_accounts Then, there's the continuity issue : the Huang Di empire have little in common with today's China : not the same borders, not the same organization. Even the language, Mandarin from Huang Di times have as much in common with modern Mandarin what modern Italian have in common with Latin. Since Huang Di, lots of kingdom and borders moved *within China*, *according to Chinese historians*. In term of continuity, the Egyptians would win by a large margin. If we use the same loose historical standard to justify the 5000 years of history, Croatian/Serbians would win by very far, search about the Vinca neolithic site, oldest scriptures ever found. However, claiming any continuity dating back to neolithic times is not history anymore, it's crackpot science,
Gotta second Hulk. The only good thing I have found is my wife. Gunpowder.... bah, when Alfred Nobel succeeded in making dynamite, gunpowder became a toy instead of a powerful weapon.
I think music is one of mans greatest inventions, China has its own.
The whole world wants to do business with China and the only answers we find here are noodles, dimsums, kungfu, chinese women !!!
Little one knows how little one knows.
