Q: What is the best way to find a good teaching job in Shenzhen?

What is the best way to find a good english teaching job in Shenzhen.  I want to work at a school that is geared toward teaching proper english pronuncuation, grammar, writing and reading skills not just have foreign teachers to act as clowns.

You may wish to try one of the International Schools in Shenzhen -- there are several.  Dave's is a good place to start looking, as is teacher's board, as is this site.  If you don't want to be a "white monkey" as they call it here, then I would probably avoid any LTC for sure.  Do avoid, however, the two Korean schools in Shenzhen, both have been cauldrons of trouble these past years.  Also, you may wish to check shenzhen expat for job listings, as well as abroadchina.  All the best to you.

FIrst you will need to do some research of the places you are applying to. The best way to do this is to search their school website or check the internet for comments about that particular school. If people put down bad things about that place it doesn't mean that the school is bad just because of someone's opinion it just means you have to watch out and be extra careful about what those people wrote down. The best places to teach I agree would be international schools. I'm not sure about Shenzhen but there is a magazine in bigger cities such as BJ that you can find the top international schools in the area and they have a listing of what they offer and provide. So check the internet for comments about the school and if you can find a magazine not sure if they have one for that city check it to see where all the schools rank in that city....
