Q: What is the best way to get a Virtual Private Network for China?

I will soon arrive in China for the first time. Are there any problems with HotSpotShield? I only recently heard of "VPN" - what is the best way to get this? I'm asking especially since the thought of not being able to connect via facebook and blogspot still puzzles me.

There is always problems with any kind of vpn in China. It doesn't matter which one.
Hotspotshield works, sometimes it doesn't. Its normal here
