Q: What is the best way to go about selling items here without having to go through the internet?

Any other ways? I know active advertising works but that's really a lot of work and it takes up a couple of hours of your day. Plus that's a lot of paper that will be thrown away anyways. Anyway you know of that works when selling some items?

A very astute question for a person like you and I'm glad to offer you some advice, I work with mentally handicap people. Perhaps your case worker can help you make signs to post, tell your friend you have something to sell.

You could stand on the corner and ask people if they want to buy your items. What are you selling, not used socks again?

if you wanna sell mobile phones or computers you can simply go to the local specialised markets (usually some big buildings where small local shops just sell electronics and accesoires) and ask around if some shop wanna buy. please note that they will pay far less than if you sell it by urself on internet for example! i once wanted to sell my old phone, which i expected to get 3-500 kuai out of it. finally I found a shop that bought it for a mere 100, other shops didnt want it at all or offered 50 kuai... the only advantage is its fast Wink

The best method seems to be a tricycle with storage space on the back!

A:I'll give my two cents on the age part. It's not as easy but can definitely be done. I was 21, fresh out of university and landed my first teaching job in china as a homeroom kindergarten teacher on a pretty standard 20,000/month salary. I'm 1 year in now and am still happy. Pretty much all international kindergarten jobs on here want 2 years experience, but many will still accept if you have experience in your home country. With that being said, being white and having a nice looking face is much more of a decision factor in china vs the west, if you can- use it to your advantage. Good luck finding something! -- brinsleym
