Q: What is the best way to move from one place to another in China?

I will be moving from Cixi Zhejiang (Near Ningbo) to Suzhou? What is the bast way I should move my things? Any advice would be welcomed. Should I use a company, on my own by bus and train?

I will have 3 suit cases and plastic bin I think?

I always use CRE...fast and cheap (just make sure that you pack your things well).

whatsoever:

Agreed, i thought you could just post your luggage by CRE, It is usually used for transportation in bulk, and you take the train to go there.

Sinobear:

I have a lot of stuff (more than 40 boxes) so I use a truck-for-hire to take the load to CRE, process the paperwork, then off it goes. Reverse process at the destination.

It's cheaper to get a truck for p/u and delivery as CRE charges a whole lot more if they do the p/u and delivery.

CRE is really good at finding the fastest way to your destination as well, I had things delivered in my destination city in less than 24 hours whereas the passenger train would take 36.

i always travel around by my 150CC motorcycle from place to place. No matter the distance. Just keep luggage to the low and its fine. Also the train is ok( if you can stand a bunch of smelly assed  people who shout and sleep with their toes by your nose)

The best way is to not be materialistic an live with 7 t-shirts/sweaters/trousers/pair of socks/undies, and some other things like a laptop. You can pack all of it in one suitcase, why are people buying tons of things when they know that they will stay only a year or two in a place? And rent a place that's already furnished, so you don't need to move anything except your suitcase when you are going to live somewhere else.

But I gained things like  bedding things to eat with. I do my own cooking at home.
