Sign up with Google Sign up with FacebookQ: what birthday gift should i buy for this guy
Sooo, me and this guy have known each other for quite some time now and i really like him. I would like you guys to help me buy the right gift that doesn't send "any kind of message" to him. Like my friend told me if i buy him underwear it will say "wear it but when you do, don't forget to show it to me" lol.
I have never bought a guy anything before so its kinda hard for me. help!

No message? A gallon can of quality imported beer or spirit is he's a spirit drinker.
Personalising presents shows the greatest amount of friendship as it requires more effort , when I say personalising I mean working out something he would like, not getting his name written on it.
satchel...they really like it
Tako:
hmm im guessing "they' you are referring to Chinese guys huh. He is a foreigner!
In the kindest possible manner Tako, could you please elaborate a litlte more on the situation? First of all, what are his hobbies? Does he like eating out, cars, bikes etc? Secondly, how long have you actually known him for?
I would suggest talking to his other friends or family and finding out what they are getting for him. Perhaps they could give you some helpful advice on the current trends he likes or what kind of music he has been listening to lately?
I hope this helps
Tako:
ok so i have known him for about 4 months now. Here is the situation, now we are living in different cities. So that's why it's even harder to choose the gift. If he was here, i could have just take him to a restaurant, he likes eating out.
You can buy him a birthday card that says I love you. There are some pretty cool one's I've seen. But that's not all you need to get him something else. I think since you like him get him something to wear. It might not have to be underwear just get him a t-shirt. And finally get him something soft and cuddly so that he gets three things all bundled up.
And after all this don't forget to buy him a birthday cake!
Good booze is for the most part welcome.
fairly good booze is also okay if you are on a budget.
Cheap booze, is never, er , um, forget it. Cheap booze is okay too!!!

I have just figured it out myself. Really quite simple lol. Just copy and paste. Literally... A little window pops up then.
I got a wallet from a friend once. I thought it was a pretty nice gift, and it didnt send any kind of message. But if not, then listen to the others, get a nice bottle of whiskey or whatever is his favorite poison.
Give him something homemade like a cake you made or print out some photos of fun moments you've had together and make a scrapbook out of it. I think the most special gifts are the ones with some thought behind it.
